故事以两大涉黑势力争夺地盘为背景，无相佛领导下的高利贷团伙“拈金手”常年与另一帮派爆发冲突，手下弟兄秦峰因功夫了得、能力出众，多次在火拼中立功，从而获得无相佛的信任。但其实秦峰的真实身份是人民警察，他必须游走在两大黑帮间寻找无相佛的犯罪证据，同时还要掩护好自己的卧底身份。而另一方面，耳目敏锐的无相佛已经从种种蛛丝马迹中发觉组织内部卧底的存在，探查内奸的行动愈演愈烈。两人一明一暗、一主一副，表面称兄道弟，内里却互相试探、勾心斗角，将剧情不断带领向高潮。
